NYSTART is Norwegian for new beginning.

This beat started with a simple idea: creating a traditional hip-hop instrumental. Verses, hooks, familiar patterns. A structure that works because it’s been done a thousand times before.

But somewhere along the way, I got tired of repeating the same formula.

And that frustration reflected something much deeper.

Months of stress, anger, uncertainty, and helplessness had been building up inside me. The noise of the world, everyday struggles, and the feeling of being caught in the same emotional cycles over and over again.

So I stopped trying to make something that follows the rules.

Instead, I let those emotions shape the music.

What begins as a subtle sense of unease gradually grows into tension, chaos, and aggression. Until everything breaks down into noise, confusion, and a complete loss of control.

Then comes the release.

Raw energy. Anger. Power.

And eventually, silence gives way to something peaceful. A moment of clarity. A sense of balance. The feeling that maybe everything is finally okay.

But just when it seems to be over, something begins to stir again.

Is it the beginning of another cycle?

Or the chance to finally break free?
